About KathleenMae
An independent American to represent Missouri’s 4th Congressional District
I am a Marine Corps veteran, graduate student, and proud resident of Missouri.
My journey to Missouri started years ago when I attended a preseason football game between my San Francisco 49ers and my husband's Kansas City Chiefs. What started as a visit, ended with my loss, but became a lasting appreciation for the people and Missouri.
Since then, I have spent years exploring Missouri's parks, trails, lakes, and rural communities. The natural beauty of this state and the strength of its people inspire me.
Today, my academic work is on healthcare through physical therapy and research focused on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through my studies and experiences, I have seen the importance of accessible healthcare, strong schools, community support systems, and the dignity that comes from hard work.
As a veteran, student, and member of this community, I understand the value of service. Service is showing up, listening, and working alongside others to solve problems.
Americans are not asking for special treatment. They are asking for the opportunity to work, provide for our families, and build a better future for ourselves, next generations, and contribute to the global economy.
